Mahendra Singh Dhoni , commonly known as M. S. Dhoni and *Mahi*, is a cricket player and was the former captain of the Indian cricket team. He is a right-handed batsman. He is known as the greatest captain of all time, having achieved more success than any other captain in the history of cricket. MS Dhoni announced retirement from international cricket on 15 August 2020.

Debut of "Mahi" to International cricket-
Dhoni made his international debut in an ODI against Bangladesh in December 2004 and played his maiden Test match almost a year later against Sri Lanka in Chennai. He was part of the team that played India's first ever T20 international against South Africa in December 2006.

Dhoni took just 0.08 secs to effect the stumping and he broke his own record for the fastest stumping he stumped Australia's George Bailey's wicket bowled by Ravindra Jadeja in an ODI in January 2016 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
